About Us
AJ Pest Control Services is a locally owned pest control and wildlife removal company based in northwest Houston. Our location in the 77065 area puts us just minutes from Cypress and the northwest corridor, and within easy reach of Katy, Tomball, Spring, The Woodlands, Humble, Sugar Land, Stafford, Missouri City, and Pasadena. Our work covers two main areas. On the pest side, we provide cockroach control and handle rats, mice, and spiders in homes and businesses. On the wildlife side, we remove raccoons and squirrels from attics, chimneys, and wall voids, then seal the openings they used to get inside.
Most pest problems in Houston are not solved by simply spraying and leaving. Real results come from identifying the correct species, finding where it lives and how it gets in, and closing those entry points properly. That is the standard we follow on every job, whether it is a single roach treatment or a full attic exclusion. We are licensed through the Texas Department of Agriculture and fully insured. Our wildlife removal services address animals that enter and damage homes through attics, chimneys, rooflines, and wall voids. We will always tell you honestly whether your problem needs one visit or a longer treatment program.
Our Services
Roach Control
German and American cockroaches are two different problems that need two different treatment plans. We identify the species first, treat the harborage where they actually breed, and address the moisture and food sources keeping them there.
Rodent Control
Rats and mice get in through gaps most people would never look at twice. We trap the active population, then seal the roofline, weep holes and utility penetrations. Trapping without sealing only makes room for the next one.
Spider Control
The large majority of spiders in Houston homes are harmless, and a small number are worth taking seriously. We identify what you actually have, clear webs and egg sacs, and reduce the insect activity feeding them.
Wildlife Removal
Inspection, humane trapping, exclusion, damage assessment and cleanup of soiled insulation. Getting the animal out is the straightforward part. Sealing the way it got in is what stops the same thing happening again.
Raccoon Removal
Raccoons push into attics and chimneys, particularly in spring when females are looking for somewhere to have their young. We check for dependent kits before trapping anything, then repair and seal the access points.
Squirrel Removal
Squirrels need a far smaller opening than a raccoon and are active in daylight rather than at night. Gnawed wiring in an attic is a genuine fire risk, so removal and roofline sealing are handled as one job.
Why Choose Us
Choosing the right pest control company makes all the difference between a quick fix and a lasting solution. At AJ Pest Control Services, we focus on accurate identification, honest communication, and thorough work that keeps pests from coming back. Here is what Houston homeowners and businesses can expect when they call us:
- Species Identification Comes First: A roach is not just a roach, and a rat is not just a rat. We confirm exactly what you are dealing with before we quote, because the wrong treatment plan means spending money on a problem that comes right back.
- Text Us a Photo for a Real Answer: Send a picture of what you found to (832) 538-7583. In most cases, we can identify the species, tell you whether it is a concern, and explain what treatment will likely involve.
- Exclusion, Not Just Removal: On every rodent and wildlife job, sealing entry points is a standard part of our work, not an extra service added at the end.
- Licensed and Insured: We hold structural pest control licensing through the Texas Department of Agriculture and carry full insurance for your peace of mind.
- Local Team With Honest Scheduling: Because we are based in northwest Houston, homes and businesses in Cypress and the surrounding corridor receive our fastest response times.

Call or text us
Call (832) 538-7583, or text a photo of the pest, the damage, or the spot where you are hearing activity. Tell us your zip code and what you are seeing.
Inspection and a fixed quote
A technician inspects the property, confirms the species, and locates the harborage areas and entry points.
Treatment, exclusion and follow-up
We treat the infestation or trap and remove the animal, then seal the entry points so the problem does not repeat.
What Our Customers Say
We flooded in the spring and about three weeks later we started hearing scratching over the bedroom. AJ found where the rats were coming in above the garage, trapped them out and sealed the whole roofline. Six months on and it has stayed quiet.
Raccoon in the attic with babies. I was worried someone would just trap the mother and leave the young up there. They checked for that first, removed them together once it was safe, then sealed the soffit properly. Handled the way it should be.
Texted a photo of a roach at nine at night expecting nothing back until morning. Got a reply telling me it was a German roach and why that actually mattered. They were out the next day and took the time to explain the sanitation side too.
Coastal Contractors LLC
We had a recurring roach issue at the restaurant that two other companies had already treated. AJ found the harborage behind the equipment line that everybody else had missed. The follow-up visit confirmed it was gone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Price depends on the pest, the size of the property and how established the problem is. A single perimeter treatment for occasional invaders sits at the low end. German roach work, rodent exclusion and wildlife removal cost more because they involve return visits and physical sealing. We inspect first and give you a fixed quote, so you are never agreeing to an open-ended number.
Store sprays and traps deal with the occasional pest that wandered in, not a breeding population. German roaches are the clearest example, because spraying them often makes things worse. The survivors scatter into new harborage and keep breeding out of reach. If you are seeing pests regularly, or during daylight hours, the population is far larger than what is in front of you.
Removal means trapping and taking out the raccoon, squirrel or rodent currently in your attic. Exclusion means finding and sealing every opening it used to get in. Removal on its own is temporary, because the gap and the scent trail are both still there. We include exclusion in the job rather than charging it as an extra.
Same-day service is often available, particularly in Cypress and the northwest Houston area where we are based. Further out, in places like Pasadena or Missouri City, it may be the next available slot depending on the route. Call or text and we will give you a real window. If an animal is actively inside the living space, say so and we will prioritize it.
Products are applied by licensed applicators at label rates, and in Texas the pesticide label is a legal document rather than a suggestion. We will tell you which areas to keep clear of and for how long, usually until treated surfaces are dry. Let us know beforehand if anyone in the home is pregnant or asthmatic, or if you keep fish, reptiles or birds.
